2. BlueCompare for Hospitals - Using Provider Finder, consumers can obtain affordability and performance information on general acute-care hospitals in the BlueChoice and BlueChoice Solutions networks.
3. Hospital Comparison Tool - The Hospital Comparison Tool lets consumers research and compare hospital outcomes for specific diagnoses and procedures. You can use this information to evaluate and select hospitals that best meet your needs.
4. Texas PricePoint- Texas PricePoint is sponsored by the Texas Hospital Association, an Austin-based nonprofit statewide trade association representing hospitals and health systems. This site was created to provide basic demographic, quality and charge information on Texas hospitals and to promote consumer/hospital interaction.
5. Blue Distinction – Blue Distinction is a nationwide program that will create an unprecedented level of health care transparency with two goals: engaging customers to enable more informed health care decisions and collaborating with providers to improve quality outcomes and affordability. Blue Distinction is an evolving, ever-changing program that will grow as the health care needs of consumers and employers change.
