Now, thanks to the BlueCard preferred provider organization (PPO), your clients can take advantage of that reputation while traveling to almost anywhere in the United States.
Through the BlueCard PPO, BCBSA healthplans work together to help our customers afford health care during their business travel or vacation. BCBSA plans throughout the country have established PPO networks of contracting doctors, hospitals and other health care providers. These extensive provider networks are the key to the BlueCard PPO.

Freedom to Choose
With the BlueCard PPO, your clients have the freedom to choose a provider. However, when utilizing BlueCard PPO contracting providers, they will receive in-network benefits for many services.
Available Care Coast-to-Coast
Whether at home or traveling, information needed about the BlueCard PPO is only a phone call away. Information may be obtained regarding BCBSA PPO contracting network providers and hospitals may be obtained by calling Customer Service at the number on the back of the ID card or the BlueCard PPO telephone number at 1-800-810-BLUE (2583) when medical services are warranted outside of the local plan service area.
